This document describes our privacy policy regarding the VMFit mobile application (referred to as the “App”). It explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how we may share it.
VMFit is headquartered in Varna, Bulgaria, and the App is provided to you by VMSoft Lab, LLC. If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA), VMSoft Lab, LLC is the controller of your personal data for the purposes of EEA data protection law.
This policy was written in English. In the event of any conflict between a translated version and the English version, the English version shall prevail. Unless otherwise indicated, this Privacy Policy does not apply to third-party products or services, or to the practices of companies that we do not own or control, including other companies you may interact with when using the App.

Profile Information
The App may optionally collect your weight, which is used to calculate calorie expenditure during certain types of activities such as walking, running, cycling, hiking, or skateboarding.
Location Information
We collect and process location information when you manually start tracking an activity in the App by selecting a sport and pressing the Start button.
Location data is also collected when using the Sunrise & Sunset and Conditions features of VMFit.
All collected location information remains on your device unless you explicitly share it (for example, when sharing a completed activity).
All stored location data is permanently deleted when you uninstall the App.
Background Location
You may choose to grant the App permission to access your location in the background, even when you are not actively using it.
We use background location solely to recover an in-progress activity if the App crashes, the system is under heavy load, or other unforeseen circumstances cause VMFit to stop tracking.
You can opt out of background location usage at any time by revoking the App's background location permissions in your device's Settings.
To improve the quality and performance of the App, we collect non-personally identifiable analytics data, such as:
This anonymous analytics data may remain on our servers even after you uninstall the App.
Sunrise & Sunset
The App uses the services of Sunrise-Sunset.org (https://sunrise-sunset.org) to provide sunrise, sunset, dawn, and dusk times for your location. When you use this feature, VMFit provides your location coordinates to Sunrise-Sunset.org to retrieve accurate time data.

Weather Information
VMFit uses the services of Open-Meteo (https://open-meteo.com) to display weather conditions for your current location when using the Conditions feature.

The App may include links to third-party products or services. These third-party products and services have their own, independent privacy policies. We therefore have no responsibility or liability for the content and activities of such third parties. Nonetheless, we seek to protect the integrity of our App and welcome feedback about any third-party products or services linked within it.
Because we value your privacy we have taken the necessary precautions to be in compliance with the California Online Privacy Protection Act. We therefore will not distribute your personal information to outside parties without your consent.
